KS SPECIFICATION - Specifications issued by the Bell Telephone Laboratories covering engineering requirements manufactured by outside suppliers.

Specifications in the KS-5000 series are issued to cover engineering requirements which must be met by outside suppliers in connection with equipment wh1ch they furnish to the Western Electric Company. These specifications are used by the Merchandise and Manufacturing Departments for ordering, analyzing and editing purposes and by the Inspection Department for checking Purposes.
